Store Demos / Not For Resale / Oddities / Test Carts / Protos / Pirates / Etc. For The Following Cartridge Based Systems... | About Me:
Been a gamer for most of my life, and a collector for about the last 15 years or so. I mainly collect for the systems I played while growing up as a kid, the NES and SNES. With the arrival of my 1st child 5 years ago, I had to part ways with most of the collection that I had accumulated over the years due to space concerns. I was able to keep a couple of Tupperware bins of various items, but most of it was pieced out and sold on various gaming and auction sites. Following that, I actually stopped collecting and playing for about 3 years, until I won an Uncharted PS3 bundle at an IT conference I went to. I wasn't really interested in gaming at the time, so the PS3 sat unopened in my closet for about 6 months until a friend talked me into opening it. Ever since then, I've been hooked.
The only system I play anymore is the PS3, so I'm mostly interested in adding PS3 games and Blu-Ray discs to my collection. Being late to the PS3 show, I have missed a lot of good releases that I would like to add to my backlog. Same goes for Blu-Ray's, I'm interested in television shows/series (Sons of Anarchy, Gangland, etc.) I don't buy much for any "vintage" systems anymore, unless the item is of specific interest to me. These would include any SNES/N64/GB/GBA/DS "Not For Resale" DEMO cartridges, Nintendo NES TEST cartridges, NES/SNES Pirates, Prototypes, oddball items, etc.
I have been a collector for a long time, and item condition is quite important to me. It is the collector (not gamer) inside of me that causes it, sorry. It's not something that I can turn off, I've tried. Please see below for some general guidelines on what I'm interested/not interested in...I AM interested in:
- Completeness (Box/Case/Game/Manual/Etc.) for current Generation systems...
* Above note does not apply to "older" cartridge based systems *
- Original Releases Only (no Greatest Hits (GH) versions)
- Clean, relatively scratch/scuff free itemsI AM NOT interested in:
- Previous store rental items
- Greatest Hits (GH) versions
- Items with stickers/labels on them
- Items with any writing (ink pen/marker) on them
- Items with any type of water "wrinkle" damage or fading
I make a good effort to describe my items in detail, so you have a pretty good idea of exactly what you'll be getting when you receive your items in the mail. Most of the items I have in my "available" list are in perfect condition. I have many games that were purchased, and only played once or twice, then put up in the closet to never see the light of day again.Shipping Practices:
90% of the time, packages will go out next day. I have a post office within a mile of where I work, so I am able to drop them off during my lunch break. The exception being the weekends (I still try to ship on Saturday, if I can make it to the post office before noon), or the seldom occasion when I'm tied up at work and am unable to make it to the post office on my lunch break. All packages will go out via USPS First Class mail w/ Delivery Confirmation. Upon shipment, I'll provide the delivery confirmation number here on GameTZ. In the odd case that Priority Mail would be a better shipping option, I'll ship via that method.Experience w/ Online BST (Buy/Sell/Trade):
I've been a gamer/collector for many years, and have built and maintained a good buying/selling/trading reputation on a couple of other websites. I know I'm new here (had an account years ago, but appears to have been deleted), but will provide the following links as references to my BST history.
