Comment (last update: 24-Aug-2006 6:17pm) My name is Shanon, I've been collecting games for about 10 years now. I also have a game stand at our local flea market. For those close by it's Booth A-35 and A-37 at Pecan Park Flea Market in Jacksonville Florida. Now in the process of opening my own brick and mortar store in Yulee FL called Game Over! Video Games and More. It will be located in Tyler Plaza on A1A just before you get to Target on the right hand side of the road.
I BUY GAMES, if you have games that your wanting to sell quickly, don't want to piece out or do not want to mess with E-bay, send me an e-mail with what you have. I can ring them into my POS system and send you a total. I can confirm that I offer more in cash than EB (I use the same database they have). If you have less than a Gold Star, when you ship out the games, send me the DC#, I'll PayPal you half the funds. When the games arive, I'll PayPal you the rest, If you have a Gold Star or better, I wil send the whole amount. For sales of 10 games or more, I will split shipping costs. 20 or more and I'll pay shipping. My main collection is NES stuff. Currently I have 3 Nintendo's, 1 regular, 1 PAL version, and a top loader of course. I currently have over 800 different titles and some really oddball stuff. My center pieces are a sealed Final Fantasy 1, a sealed Jurrassic Boy (Sachen game), a complete Dragon Warrior 4, an Action 52 cart, some double ended (1 for NES, 1 for famicom) Brazilian carts, a copy of Honey Peach (X-Rated), a complete Hot Slots (X-Rated and cost 2 arms and a leg), A complete Tengen Tetris, a complete Snow Bothers, Bonk's Adventure, and a Nintendo Console Test Cart V.2. Recent additions: Super Nintendo Blockbuster Kiosk (wooden one) and a SNES Display System (the one with the lighted tube on top) I do collect other systems, currently I'm at 46 different systems, including variations of the same system.(i.e. genesis 1,2,+3) and a metric butt ton (that's a technical term) of games. Games I'm Currently Playing: Flatout 2 (PS2) Rules For Trading: - I expect the same treatment as I give. I don't send via Media Mail!! 1st class is as low as I go. If I make a trade, I don't want to wait 2 weeks to get my part, or to send your part. Media Mail can take around a month or longer to complete a trade, If the other party sends the same day they receive. 1st class usually runs about a 25-50 cent more than media. If you can't afford 50 cents to speed up delivery to 3-4 days, then you need to quit trading games and get a job. - Delivery confirmation is a must - Be FAIR. I know this is not e-bay, but don't expect me to trade Bubble Bobble for Kung Fu. It's not going to happen. - Be honest. I'll send pictures of the games condition, so you know exactly what you are getting. Just ask. If a label is torn or written on, I want to know that before we trade, even if its minor. Things I Don't use: - I don't use price guides that some Joe Schmoe typed up and posted on his web-page. Especially when he's selling or trading games. The games he needs are always $3-$5, while what he selling/trading is always $10-$15. Seems awful biased to me. What I do use: - For price guides, I use Digital Press. I've heard, "who are these guys", or "that price is too low", or "its too high". Here's my opinion. Who am I going to go by, the guy above, or a large group of people whose jobs are to research games, rarity, and pricing on over 50 different systems and put out a hard copy price guide for over 7 years now. Hmmm. - I usually take an average on pricing. I take the average ending price on e-bay, and the price from Digital Press, then take the average of those 2, and usually subtract 10-20% to determine a fair price. I do that for my games, and will calculate your trade offer based on the same system. If they're close, we're good. The Down and Down and Dirty - I'm easy to work with, but don't act like your stuff is worth more than mine just because its yours. If I buy or sell, I use PayPal. If I'm selling I expect payment first, no matter how many trades you have. Same as buying. I'll pay first, unless you have no trades or a BTR. Last but not least. I'm in the Navy. If you e-mail me and I don't answer right away, don't be upset. I could be on duty, or out to sea. I don't start trades, unless I know I'm going to be here for awhile, i.e. not at sea. If you e-mail me an offer out of the blue, just by scanning available games, and not in response to a post I made, it may be awhile until you get a response. Just FYI. | ||
