I airmailed Wizard and the Princess for Apple II on 17SEP.
He supposedly airmailed Loom on 16SEP.
To date, I've not received Loom. He says he received Wizard and would send it back, which I asked him to do. Since then, no replies to my e-mails.

Guess I've joined the tens of others who learned the hard way about Eyal.

Not that it would require this additional BTR to show what a character Eyal is... anyway: he approached me with a trade involving an Ultima I by Sierra, which is one of the scarcer releases out there, and I accepted with alacrity. I immediately sent my stuff (Wrath of Denethenor, Wing Commander II + the speech pack which I threw in as a surprise).

He claims my package never arrived, and that he would have sent his side of the deal on schedule. I have since checked with the postal tracking service that my package *did* arrive. Even when confronted with this, Eyal refused to admit that my package was delivered to him.

He then told me that he would soon be able to offer another copy of Ultima I, as he would find 2-3 of them per year. Which is, by all means, impossible! This was, among other things, what got me very suspicious about him, and his shady practices have since been exposed. (see below for the URLs)

Eyal won't respond to my messages anymore, he appears to ignore all attempts to contact him.

I strongly advise not to trade with this guy, in fact everybody should make sure Eyal will never deal in classic software again.

Well, what more to add, I don't think the whole thing will ever be solved against this real robber. However, everything was explained very well here and on several other pages and my story is the same of my fellow traders here below.

My trade was created on 10th of September. It was my Gabriel Knight 1 + Privateer + The hobbit for his Ultima I.

I've contacted Israeli Police website but received no reply at present day.

Eyal Katz approached me for a trade of his Neverhood for two original Sierra games, Gobliins 1 and 2. Because of the hefty postage that would be incurred in my sending games for a game I was not looking for, I thought it did not sound out of place, and agreed to the trade on 9/20/02. Each of us agreed to send our games on or about that date, and I did send my games to him on that date. It has now been two months, and I have not received any game from him. In addition, I have emailed him numerous times with no reply, although he was quick to respond to emails when we were discussing the trade. In correspondence with several other traders who also have pending trades with Eyal Katz, I have discovered that he has responded to their emails during this time period when he has refused to reply to mine, although he has not sent their games either. I would be happy to remove this if Eyal would send the game he promised.

Same case, Jon de Ojeda worded it very well already. My trade was made september 11th. Trade was for Adventure is Serenia for my Loom, Indy and I have no Mouth.

Eyal contacted me for a trade offer for my The Dagger of Amon Ra and Crime City PC games for his The Elder Scrolls III: Marrowind -- Collector's Edition. Obviously this was a too good to be true trade and I agreed to it. The trade was pending on Sept 26th and I shipped my package on Sept 28th via Air Mail. The postal clerk forget to scan in the label serial # so it does not appear on my receipt.

After being contacted by 2 traders who also posted BTRs on him below said Eyal has confirmed recieving their packages, but they have not receive Eyal's. It's been half a month and I know he also received mines. I have traded with 2 other traders from Israel before with no problems. Plus our packages took around 1-2 weeks to get to each other.

I e-mailed Eyal and surprisingly he replied very quick, an hour later! I asked if he can send me a scan of the postal receipt so I can see if he actually sent his side of the trade. Since then, he never replied. I'm guessing after he got all those BTRs.

Basically my story is about the same as Jon's.

As of now, I still have not received his package.

I traded the Editor's Choice Collection for his Pepper's Adventures in Time. We agreed to mail at the same time, Sept. 23. I sent mine but have not received his. After six weeks I sent emails which were never answered although he was very communicative on setting up the trade. If he doesn't send his game, I would like my game back.

On Sept. 6, 2002 I entered into a trade with Eyal. I had traded with him before with no problems and in fact, with exemplary results. In my most recent trade with him he told me that he had not received my games, and I also had not received the game he said he shipped. He also offered compensation, which I replied to but have received no answer as yet. I was about to write this situation off to unfortunate circumstances considering the present problems in Israel but then on Nov. 5, 2002 I received an email from another GTZ member that had also not received his game. This person had received an email from a 3rd GTZ member who had also not received his game. Not wanting to jump to conclusions, I emailed the people that Eyal had pending trades with to see if they had received their games. None had as yet! I was still not convinced that Eyal had flagrantly reneged on his part of our trade and I thought it was possible that he may be a victim of unfortunate circumstances. Then, today, I received an email from yet another GTZ member about Eyal and directing me to this article that he created -

I still have no direct evidence that Eyal has reneged on our trade other than the fact that he stated that he shipped my game via Air Mail on Sept. 08, 2002 (60 days ago) but I thought that this Bad Report was necessary (given the accumulated information) in order to halt trades with Eyal until this matter is resolved.

Any additional information, from the moderators or others, that I am not aware of would be appreciated. I would be more than happy to remove this bad trader report if any positive information concerning Eyal Katz's integrity is submitted.

To this date, I have not received my game.
