Congrats to @BucketofJustice and @Scott on making that $$$, two wonderful fellas who deserve it.

Since we're talking about new opportunities, I'm starting my training this week to become a freelance TV/Movies Feature Writer for CBR.com (Comic Book Resources). So pretty soon I'll be able to filter all my long-winded dorky writings to an outlet where I can actually make a bit of a profit haha. Of course, I'll still be working my normal 9-5, so hopefully my eyes don't dry up due to all the screen time.

On the up and up with you folks.

It’s freelance in that I get paid per article and not a flat rate as if I were an actual employee, but I still need to learn their style of formatting and how to upload & publish articles using their systems, etc.

I’ll be able to claim topics that the editors post, there are apparently always a ton to choose from, but I can also pitch my own topics in hopes that they sign off on them. Pretty neat.

Yeah we're planning on donating more than half of it to a local food bank even though the expiration date is over a year from now there's no way we'll go through that much pudding
