imgur is a good way to host pictures to post here. Once you have the pictures on imgur, right click it then select "copy image address" (I'm using Chrome, another browser may word this differently). You want the URL to just the image, not the page that the image is on. The URL will likely end in .png or .jpg (or some other image file extension). Once you have that paste that URL between {img} tags and it should display inline here. Don't worry about the height/width, gtz will scale it for you and add those later.

I've been meaning to ask this for a long time so this is very helpful.

For anyone who might find this to be helpful, here's a way to do it:

1: Post a picture on a hosting website (such as imgur)

2: click or press on the photo in that website and click on "copy url," or something like "copy for forums," etc.

3: on this forum, type two sets of squiggly brackets, with no spaces: {}{}

4: inside each set of brackets, type img, again no spaces

5: paste the url of the photo you uploaded in between both sets of brackets {}{}

Voila! Your picture will appear directly here.

You don't need to do it in that order. You can simply type the open bracket, followed by img, followed by the image url, followed by the brackets again. I just broke it down like that.

(Perhaps it makes no difference if you make spaces or not, but I didn't test that. I know for sure that it works without spaces)

Often -for me- it adds an unnecessary space between the tag and address and won’t display correctly unless you delete it.
