Nice, Kao the Kangaroo is the recently released reboot. I've been wanting to try that one out

Horizon Chase Turbo is great - it's basically a redone Top Gear from the SNES/Genesis and I think it is maybe I repeat, but I own it and enjoyed beating it, bought the DLC too, but haven't got to that yet.

Nah, it just looks like they are making the games a mystery now. Probably, as SwiftJAB said, to prevent hurting potential sales.

Damn been awhile since I checked this... have not collected a free game in 11 months, I see I missed some gems. Not that I have a PC right now that is capable.. but when I do this year (feels like I say it every year) I will have a decent list of games to go through.

Hopped on at A Plague Tale: Innocence

Seems that A Plague Tale: Innocence is a repeat - oh well, maybe I'll finally play it. I do recall trying it way back on Xbox when it was on GP, but it didn't hook me then.

Gaurdians of the Galaxy today. I have it on PS5.... but oh well Free is Free. Got it for Christmas 2021 and still have yet to open it.. ack.

GotG was pretty fun, I played and beat it on when it was available via GP. If you like 80's music it's a gem, if you dislike 80's music, I question your tastes but overall I'd say GotG was certainly worth playing and had many humourous lines of banter between Star Lord and Rocket.

Really funny game. I recommend setting the difficulty to easy and don't worry about collecting everything. The character banter is much more fun than the combat (lots of damage sponges).

I think I have Love on Switch. It's one of those 2D platformers where you can expect to die a lot.

LOVE is actually a really fun game. I got it for free on Android and played through it a couple years back.

Kind of a bummer that that's the freebie though, instead of a collection including the other two LOVE games. Oh well

I've heard terrible things about the Spacers Choice edition of Outer Worlds from a performance perspective. I did a quick check and many people are still recommending the original version.

Personally, I beat the game on Xbox a couple years ago and really enjoyed it even though I was speeding through it to make the Game Club deadline.

Yea I love(d) Outer Worlds. I never played the 2nd DLC. On PSN you can only buy the Spacer's Choice bundle now, not the DLC separate, so I've held off since I own the game and bought the first DLC. I might just play the 2nd DLC now, but since it's PC and my save is on PS, I'm not sure I want to start from scratch.
