Do you have a list of all the site change april fools jokes over the years? That seems like a fun article that would make it high on reddit.

I don't have a list, but I can sort of remember many of them (not in order).

Reddit, I don't know. I feel like these jokes are a personal thing between me and all of you. Like, they'll never get things like the Brussels sprout reference.

I'm sure I have said this before, but I'm not sure I have another one of these in me. I'm out of ideas.

I'm struggling to remember all of the past April Fool's pranks on here. These are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head:

1) Fishing Game
2) RPG Game
3) Scott day (everyone's username was transformed into some variation of "scott")
4) Moving score buttons (when you tried to plus/neg a post, the buttons would move all around the screen)
5) Icons (you could steal other users' icons by clicking on them, something like that)

What else was there?

... there were other scoring variations (neg-only, plus-only, others) that were done apart from April Fool's... though, I'm not sure if Bacon scoring was originally an April Fool's joke.

Yeah, those stemmed from a bunch of arguments about scoring, so you let us try out a bunch of variations for a few weeks at a time. I don't believe bacon started as an April Fool's joke.

I think the BTR thing was probably one of the first April Fool's jokes, it was a bit rough and out-of-control, not exactly planned, just happened.

The covid virus thing was a little like the fishing thing in that it added a covid icon image to some random posts, then if someone clicked it, they'd get infected. Then it would show up in their posts too. Also, there were phases like you'd get infected image, then sick image, then either dead or recovered image. I recall some didn't think it was funny because the pandemic was just getting going and we were all freaked out.

Maybe the BTR thing was before my time. I think I'd remember giving you a BTR

I think I remember the bacon scoring. :)
How long ago was that? Unless I'm remembering talk about the bacon scoring, but not the actual event.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think it was "Decembacon" 2011 that we did bacon scoring. I think it was a multiplier but you could only put bacon on one post.

I actually really love this one. It’s been great chatting with others through trades finding those coveted catch’s. I don’t know if I’ll get it by end of the month, but it’s been a fun trying. Would love to see these around holidays as it’s an awesome touch @bill

I've seen a few fish appear in text that almost made sense grammatically. Something like: "I actually really love this one 🐡. It’s been great chatting with 🦈..."

At the time, there was me, Scots, and JesterScott on the site. Plus, there had been 2 or 3 users who jokingly changed their usernames to some form of "Scott", because people were always mixing up me and Scots. That's what gave Bill the idea for the prank, I believe.
