Thanks for the links. Listening now to magfest. They were just playing something from Bastion. Never played it though. Would be great if they play a song from something I played.

Oooooooh, something I recognize. They played something from Donkey Kong country.

Be sure to watch the schedule for Bit Brigade. They are always a blast. They play through an NES game live on stage while playing the BGM with real instruments.

I'll have to pay attention for that.

Currently watching/listening to their 2019 Megaman performance:

That's definitely the one. Really fun to see live.

I looked up their touring schedule. They do more than I would have imagined. Cool to see that there's enough of a liking for this kind of music for them to do what they do.

Yeah, they hit a lot of places big and small. I saw them in a local arcade a number of times.

Really? That's cool. What was it like in person?

A lot of fun. Very loud, so be sure to take earplugs. Before the show they were playing arcade games and setting up equipment, and they're all very friendly. Like most concerts you really feel the percussion and electricity in the air. You also end up holding your breath during the tricky parts of the run since there's the added pressure of a live band playing in response to what's happening on screen.

I've seen them run Castlevania, Contra, MegaMan 2 and 3, Metroid, Batman, and Ducktales. Missed the Zelda show due to bad weather, but oh well.
